Pete & Lia were visiting Canada from the UK for a couple of weeks, travelling from the coast through to Banff. Pete contacted me months in advance to plan his surprise proposal at Moraine Lake! We planned out when and where and how it would all work out, it was too much fun! Once I arrived at Moraine Lake, I found Pete & Lia along the shore line, just getting out of their canoe. I hung around, wandering around the trees, trying to keep my distance. Pete eventually pulled out the ring box from his backpack, and gave me a thumbs up behind his back. Then he popped the question! A few minutes later, he explained it all to Lia and I got to meet this lucky girl! We continued with the rest of their engagement session around the lake and in the Canoe & although it was chilli and there was fresh snow, we had a blast & it looked gorgeous!
