A few words from Temmy: It all started out in March 2010, it’s a long story so let’s just say we were at the right place at the right time in our lives. Just like the quote

from William Shakespeare ” When I saw you, I fell in love. And you smiled, because you knew.”  It was definitely love at first sight for him, and for me that very first moment I knew there was something special about him.

The best thing about being together is that we knew we wanted a family. A mini me and and mini him. 6 years later we now have a princess and a prince. Family is our number 1 priority and so I felt 2016 is a good year to get married, I wanted our parents to still be around and for our kids to be part of it. Initially I wanted a small intimate wedding at home, then I thought about an acreage wedding but we don’t have an acreage. One night we were driving downtown and my daughter was in awe when she saw a castle, the building lit up and her eyes lit up. She was amazed at the Fairmont hotel macdonald for their fairytale castle look. She gave me an idea! Right away the next day I call to get more information, I’m glad I decided to do an intimate wedding rather than a typical Asian wedding of 500guests. My maid of honour mentioned about Samantha and her work. What I love most about her work is the fresh fresh fresh flowers. Her taste and design is exactly like mine, even better. I trusted her completely and she knew exactly what I meant. I told her it’s all about the flower balls! It’s a must at the wedding and everywhere she can put them. I enjoyed working with her because she is kind and understanding. She knows how to budget a wedding and was more excited than me.

Day of the wedding, well I have to say that everything turned out perfectly! The weather forecast predicted rain, which it did but till the very end it cleared up and it seem as if a miracle just happened. Felt like our wedding was blessed. There are so many best moments in my wedding that I could go on and on and on. My dad walking me down, listening to his speech, my boy anxiously waiting to run down the aisle, my daughter feeling like a bride, the room covered in fresh flowers, having all my closets friends from far and near, my nephews surprised me with their own speeches, the venue, the calligraphy, the harpist, the smallest detail of flowers and arrangements, the food, the photographer. Everything was great, it was definitely a fairytale. Wayne and I will never forget any moments in our wedding whether big or small and that was because we made the right choice to call Samantha and have her coordinate our wedding. Having a wedding coordinator is the best thing we did for our wedding.

Wayne and I have waited a long time for this moment, our love is like a very old love. It feels like we were together in our past lives and our past lives before that. That every new life we were destined to be together. When we met it felt like the universe was pulling us together. That no matter what the obstacles we may encounter something greater will bring us closer. It’s hard to describe until you have found your true love then you will understand what I mean. The funny thing about us is that it feels we were living in parallel lives, and it was just that very moment when we first met everything changed. I can truly deeply say that he is my true love, best friend and my everything. Over the last 6 years we have build and grown so much. Today, my daughter still talk about our wedding. How that day was for us, our family wedding day.
