From Brittany of Life Set Sail: We’re back! After spending a week travelling Portland and the Oregon Coast with Justine, I’m so SO excited to share all that we did. It was a whirlwind trip and a lot went wrong (it’s okay we can laugh about it now), but we saw a lot and (of course) took a lot of photos…
This outfit (head to toe Aritzia) is probably my favourite from the entire trip. I’m basically obsessed with every piece here – oh, and those sunglasses are only $15 from Nordstrom (shop here). I think this is the first time I’ve ever showed you guys my new(ish) purse too, major splurge (and my first ever designer bag), but so worth it. Since Gucci changed designers they are actually discontinuing this bag, just a heads up for all the fashionably obsessed! Of course, in typical Brittany style, I’ve kept accessories at a minimal with my favourite Hart + Stone pieces. I actually got second piercings just for her earrings haha.
We found this Art Fills The Void mural online before our trip and, aside from all the wonderful beaches, it was the one I was most excited to shoot…I mean come on, it’s a GIANT BANANA! The original was painted back in 1982 making it Portland’s oldest community mural. It has recently been restored as of 2015 after years of graffiti and tagging by idiot out-of-towners that clearly did NOT respect the banana!
