FAQ
How much are the sessions, what is included?
$200 plus gst. Sessions are 10 minutes long and include 3 images.
$100 plus gst. Sessions are 5 minutes long and include 1 image.
Additional images are available for purchase at $35/image.
What can these sessions be used for?
Family, couples, maternity, portraits, engagement sessions or anniversary sessions.
What if there is bad weather?
Christmas sessions are done indoors and the dates will not move. Weather does not impact these sessions.
When will my images be ready?
All proofing galleries will be delivered by the Wednesday after your session (November 23) Once you have made your selection of images (you have 48 hours to do this) and paid any additional for additional images, your edited images will be ready by the following Wednesday (November 30).
Total turn around time (as long as you complete your selections on time is maximum 1.5 weeks)
The sooner you make your selections, the sooner your images will be ready, the earliest your images will be ready is 2 days.
How will my images be delivered?
You will be e-mailed a link to an online gallery. From the proofing gallery you will not be able to download any images, once the images have been selected and the edited ones are uploaded, you will be able to download all of those. All of the images will be high resolution and print ready. You can order cards directly from your gallery or on your own. Your gallery will expire after 6 months, it is your responsibility to download and archive your images.
What happens if my little one(s) don’t cooperate or cry the entire session?
While I have yet to encounter a session where we can’t make some type of magic happen, it is important to note that unfortunately this is the risk taken with mini sessions. Due to the time limitations, we won’t have the ability to pull out every trick in the book the way we could with full sessions. That being said, be sure your little one sleeps (if needed) and eats before your session.
What if I cannot attend my mini session for an unforeseen reason?
It is very important to note that, as with all mini sessions, these are nonrefundable, nontransferable, and cannot be rescheduled for any reason. Please be sure you are 100% available for the date before paying for your session. Your session time and date is confirmed and booked once you have paid the invoice.
What locations are the photos at?
Exact location details and directions will be e-mailed to you once you book your session. The Christmas mini sessions are downtown Calgary.
Can I bring my pet?
For Christmas mini sessions you will have to e-mail me and tell me a bit more about your pet (just for liability and making sure they won’t ruin the studio space I am renting for your session!)
Will the set up be exactly the same as in these photos?
No. The sessions will be in a different space. In the interest of keeping it fresh since it’s a new year, the set will be different. It will still be classic and neutral in colors, and festive of course, but not exactly the same!
There will be the flocked tree farm set up from 2021, along with 2 other sets, one including a fully decorated tree.

If you are wanting some outfit advice:
For your outfits, formal and simple is always better. Avoid large logos, spandex, hoodies, and anything unflattering. Dresses are always nice for the ladies, and jeans and a dress shirt are great for guys. If it’s colder out, leggings or jeans and sweaters are great options too!
Try to choose complimentary colors & patterns. Softer or simple colors tend to look best, avoid neon colors, and colors that clash with the environment or locations we’ve chosen for your session. Also try to avoid both wearing the same solid colored top (for example don’t both wear black).
