From Stacey Foley…Natural, organic and ethereal weddings are becoming more and more popular so we wanted to create a shoot to inspire brides and allow them to find true beauty in something simple. The creative process started for me when I was contacted by Kelsey McIntyre of Kathryn Bass Bridal letting me know that she would be in Calgary for one day and had a trunk full of beauties available if I was interested. I jumped on the opportunity. Justine Milton, of Milton Photography, was the absolute perfect fit to capture it all. Her style is timeless, elegant and incredibly gorgeous.
I wanted to allow the colors and textures of the season to play a big part in the design and inspiration of this shoot so I incorporated red pears and pomegranates into the tablescape and Fleurish created for us the most stunning bouquet and centerpiece incorporating falls favourite flowers and fruits. Simple and beautiful stationery, created by Pink Umbrella Designs, was added as the perfect finishing touch.
Weddings are meant to be an expression of self, an incorporation of season and a beautiful look into what inspires the soul. This shoot was created to allow brides the opportunity to see that simple inspiration and beauty can come together to make pure magic!
