Engagement Session

Moraine Lake Proposal

Scans by: PhotoVision | Location: Moraine Lake

Tegan & Kyle drove out to Moraine Lake for a couples photo session. When they arrived it was really chilli and windy out and Kyle was a little nervous. We started hiking up to the great look out point, taking some photos along the way. Trying to plan a surprise engagement photo session is not an easy task! Every time I got a text from Kyle I had to make sure it wasn’t Tegan. We hadn’t yet had a chance to figure out a signal for when he would propose, but we had briefly worked out the middle of the session. Once we got up to the look out spot we shot a little bit around there, and then we were thinking of heading down to shoot some more! Kyle loved that spot so much that he climbed up on the rock and asked for a few more photos! Knowing that we shoot film, Kyle casually asked how many frames each roll can take and where I am in the roll. The next thing we all know he is down on one knee asking Tegan to marry him! She was so surprised & of course said yes! We then went down from the look out point and captured the happy couples engagement session around Moraine Lake! Despite the crazy wind & how cold it was – there was even snow on the mountains – we had an amazing time! Congratulations Tegan & Kyle!
