A few words from Brittany Messner from Life Set Sail: On my recent trip to CrossIron Mills I made it my mission to find a stylish, yet approachable way to mimic the trend. I wasn’t necessarily ready to go all out, so I eased myself into the idea by simply pairing a classic shirt dress with some wonderfully feminine heels in a matching burgundy hue. To top off the look I accessorized with a pair of triangular drop earrings which have a lovely, pavé look about them.
I don’t know what it was about having shoes that matched my dress so perfectly, but something about it just made feel so happy and put together. I think I have successfully warmed up to the whole matchy-matchy idea! In fact, I wouldn’t even be surprised if I were to look for a matching hat to throw in there too…and scarf, and blazer, and tights. Am I getting too carried away here?
